Home of Grace is a shelter for pregnant unmarried women who are not accepted by their families. In Thailand abortion is, in most cases, illegal.  For many women, however, it seems to be the only way out of a problematic situation.  The used means are very often threatening to the health and the life of the mother-to-be.  Many women also abandon their child at hospitals or other places.These women who are looked down upon, need a place to stay temporarily during their pregnancy in order to plan their future.  At the Home of Grace, they can stay up to two months after the delivery.
